Highly Anticipated Park 101 Opens In Carlsbad This July

That deli, dough.

We had the tough task of writing about burgeoning Carlsbad Village’s newest upgrade, Park 101, earlier this year. While having looked through mouth-watering recipe trial images and amazing digital renders of the 8,000 square-foot space, we can safely say we are counting down the minutes until Park 101’s official opening.

And thank goodness it is set for July – as that’s only a manageable few days away.

The massive multi-level, plaza-style restaurant and lounge complex will bring a fresh dining, drinking and “grab and go” experience to the awesome views of the seaside village.

For “on the go” visitors, the Market will feature an old fashioned, street-side walk-up window, serving a hearty list of take-away treats such as hot tri-tip sandwiches, ready-made juices, fresh espresso and coffee, ice cream sandwiches, as well as the above-seen irresistible handmade doughnuts.

Visitors can meander across the plaza, where Park 101’s indoor/outdoor Garden Pub will offer a variety of up to 32 local tap beers and a wide selection of regional wine offerings.

The Tamarack Deck will feature a rooftop lounge with fire pits and cozy seating areas, where gourmet snacks and million-dollar views of the vibrant Carlsbad Village will be served daily.

Also on the property, Park 101 Barbecue will serve as a “go-to” spot for lip-smacking ribs and a rack of meat-centric BBQ specialties.

All we can say is: Hello, date nights one, two and three.

Boy do we appreciate a place that makes it so perfect and easy!
