One Paseo Announces First Four Retail Tenants

One Paseo, the highly-anticipated mixed-use development bringing shops, restaurants, apartments, offices, and public spaces to Del Mar Heights, has announced its first four retailers. The new development will soon house Van De Vort, West of Camden, Whiskey + Leather and SoulCycle – an upscale women’s bohemian-inspired boutique, an artist-driven men’s and women’s clothing, accessories and unique soft goods retail store, and a one-of-a-kind fitness destination and indoor cycling studio, respectively.

These retailers are the first shopping additions to the One Paseo neighborhood; One Paseo’s first restaurants were announced over the last few months. The shops are scheduled to open early 2019, and there is plenty of buzz in the community to suggest that it’s going to draw big crowds.

Here are more details about each of the new retailers:

Van De Vort

One Paseo will be the store’s second location. “One Paseo is such an exciting project taking place in the San Diego region, and an intrinsic next step for Van De Vort,” said Andrea Van De Vort.

West of Camden

A Huntington Beach based boutique and a collaboration between Lindsey and Adrien Lamoreux, a husband and wife team with separate backgrounds in art, design and apparel production. The name West of Camden is a nod to the famous Camden Market of London, a market that celebrates local artists and craftsmen of all types of brands.

Whiskey x Leather

“After three years of booming business, we were ready to spread our wings and expand to a second store. Eclectic beach town vibes were what we were looking for in our next adventure; San Diego was just the place! One Paseo was the perfect home for the next store.” said Ariel Hujer, co-founder of Whiskey x Leather.

Soul Cycle

The one-of-a-kind fitness studio with a massive, loyal fan base, provides indoor cycling classes and a boutique of athleisure apparel and accessories. The New York-based company opened their first San Diego location earlier this spring.

These four retailers join an impressive culinary lineup that includes International Smoke, Tocaya Organica, Sweetfin Poké, Ways & Means Oyster House, Shake Shack, Parakeet Café, Tender Greens, Joe & The Juice, The Butchery and North Italia, which were announced earlier this year.

It looks like One Paseo is going to be hot!
