Opening Night For Rady Children’s Ice Rink At Liberty Station Is Postponed!See + Do ICE?! We don't need no stinkin' ice!!
Sorry ladies and gents, but you’ll have to wait just a little longer to lace up those skates and hit the ice at Liberty Station.
The Rady Children’s Ice Rink at Liberty Station was originally set to kick off this Thursday, November 16th, but they are having challenges making the ice!
Who would have thought…challenges making ice outside in San Diego?! 😉
Well we are rooting for them to get on track as soon as possible – we’re excited to go skating!
We’ll keep you posted as we hear updates, but when it is open, tickets are good for in-and-out access throughout the day they are purchased for and include a pair of skates and an optional helmet; opening day tickets will be discounted. The ice rink will be open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Skate For a Good Cause
Yes, the ice will be a bit lump and have some puddles at times – sorry to all of you former Olympians! But get out there anyway, because all proceeds from the ice rink benefit the Rady Children’s Hospital’s Peckham Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. That’s something worth skating for!
Kids: $12 (12 years and younger)
Adults: $ 14
Season Pass: $ 50
Skate rental included in pricing
See you there!
