7 Delicious San Diego Destinations for Thanksgiving Dinner! (Because cooking and cleaning is the worst!)

Thanksgiving is a great time to spend with family and friends. You’ll share stories and have laughs over amazing food, while reflecting on all that you’re thankful for.

It`s all gravy – That is until everyone else is in a tryptophan and wine-induced coma and you’re left to clean up the mess.

So don’t be a victim! Skip the traditional cooking and cleaning and let someone else do the dirty work this Thanksgiving.

Here are some the best places to go in San Diego for a delicious, no fuss-feast.

Kitchen 1540 at L’auberge Del Mar might be one of the most beautiful settings the San Diego coast has to offer. Located at what is arguably the swankest hotel in SD, Kitchen 1540 allows you to dine under the stars just steps from the ocean.

Executive Chef Nathan Lingle has put together a three-course Thanksgiving menu. It starts out with a Sierra Gold Bellini (salmon gravlax, creme fraiche, caviar and quail egg) and ends with your choice of Apple Cake Tatin, Goat Cheese Cake with Pumpkin Butter, or Dark Chocolate and Fig Trifle.

The main course offers the Thanksgiving classic: turkey or you have your choice of Beef Tenderloin, salmon or eggplant Tortellini.
