Gear Up For Some Finger-Licking Fun At Lobsterfest 2023
What better way to kick off California’s spiny lobster season than with a crustacean-filled celebration at Tuna Harbor Dockside Market? A favorite local tradition, the Lobsterfest returns on Sunday, October 8th, as a full-fledged bayside bash and special-edition seaside market.
Lobsterfest is back for its 4th year
Join the San Diego Fishermen’s Working Group, a nonprofit organization aimed at revitalizing local fisheries, and get your hands (not claws—spinies don’t have those!) on the first fresh catches of the season. Nearly a dozen local fishermen will be selling San Diego’s beloved deep-sea delicacy along the pier from 8AM to 1PM or until sold out.
The free and open-to-public seafood spectacle at Tuna Harbor Dockside Market will also feature lobster-fueled dockside dishes prepared by Chef Marcus Twilegar (Palmy’s Pacific Beach, Parq), live music, and merchandise available for purchase.
