11th Annual I Love Poke Festival Is Back At Bali Hai Restaurant
The 11th Annual I Love Poke tasting event and poke competition is back at the Bali Hai. This special day will feature island-inspired fare created by 20+ chefs and restaurants.
10 years of success and still counting
This Hawaiian Food Festival & Competition has been a success over the last 10+ years for one reason: The event was born from a heart with the sole desire to satisfy the cravings of friends and family.
The event is organized in the same spirit as how any family-style get-together is done. Chefs who share a love for island food and culture are invited to create the best dishes they can for bragging rights (think of it like a very competitive family potluck!).
The event takes place at Bali Hai Restaurant on Shelter Island, one of San Diego’s most iconic family-owned restaurants that has been a staple in our community for over 65 years.
Who will be this year’s champion?
A panel of judges full of professional chefs, food writers, and local celebrities will be judging all entries to crown an I Love Poke Champion at the end of the event!
