ArtWalk San Diego Introduces New Fine Arts Festival To North County, The ArtWalk Carlsbad
The first ever ArtWalk Carlsbad is set to make its debut this weekend! The weekend-long inaugural fine art festival in Carlsbad aims to ‘Connect Creative Communities’ all over San Diego County, bringing guests together for an immersive art experience while being surrounded by the breathtaking views of the Carlsbad Flower Fields and the ocean.
The event will showcase a unique element – approximately 50 chalk artists who will create temporary masterpieces on the asphalt live at the event. These “street paintings” will be created before guests’ eyes and will be a distinctive feature of ArtWalk Carlsbad each year.
Something For Everyone!
There will be plenty at the festival to keep everyone interested and entertained, including a wine and beer garden, food trucks, interactive art experiences, KidsWalk and more than 200 artists showcasing every medium of fine art including painting, sculpture, glass work, fine jewelry and photography. In addition to viewing live art and interacting with artists, tickets include admittance to the Museum of Making Music during the festival dates.
Steve Poltz headlines an array of singers/songwriters who will perform live throughout the weekend.
