Bivouac Celebrates New Draft Release With Fish N’ Chips & Cider Pairing Event
San Diego cider pioneer Bivouac Ciderworks celebrates the first-ever release of Savoy English Pub-style Cider in 16oz cans with a Fish n’ chips & Cider pairing event on November 16th.
The cider, one of the cidery’s very first and most popular draft releases, honors the British cider-making tradition (thought to date back to as far as 3000 BCE). Bivouac Co-founder and CEO Lara Worm’s formative years were spent studying “across the pond,” where she first discovered a passion for cider.

The Savoy English Pub-Style Cider available November 10th
In Bivouac’s signature blend of apple juice, Savoy features high-quality Dabinett apples, a traditional bitter English cider apple variety that originates from Somerset, England, and is widely regarded as the finest cider apple in the world.
The apples are sourced from Stocks Farm, a 200-year-old family-owned (since 1962) hop and apple farm on the Herefordshire/Worcestershire border. Bivouac is proud to partner with small producers that align with the cidery’s values and mission to build community, respect the environment, and bring great-tasting cider to a wider audience.
The fresh twist on the pub-style cider pays homage to British cider-making traditions. Find Savoy English Pub-style Cider in 4-packs of 16oz cans (SRP $17.99-20.99) at retailers throughout Southern California including Total Wine & More, and the cidery’s San Diego taproom in North Park starting on November 10th.
