Join The Block Party For A Cause At Lola 55

Mark your advent calendars for December 9th — Lola 55 is hosting an all-you-can-eat Block Party For A Cause in support of wildfire relief in Tecate.

Last month’s wildfires in Baja damaged hundreds of homes in impoverished areas, leaving many families homeless. The fires also hit Mt. Tabor Monastery, destroying donated supplies that are a source of much-needed assistance to the families in this region. In order to aid the area’s wildfire relief, Lola 55 will be hosting a charity event in the courtyard of the Idea 1 building.

The buffet-style dinner will include a whole roasted pig and dishes from chefs Drew Bent (Lola 55), Ivan Munos (Moonshine Flats), Davin Waite (Wrench Rodent, The Plot), Hanis Cavin (The Pioneer) and Keith Lord (Wild Thyme Company). Lola 55 will also be auctioning off a multi-course private dinner provided by one of the participating chefs!

Tickets for this event include complimentary Boochcraft, Mezcal Amaras, El Silencio Mezcal and Topo Chico.  All proceeds from Block Party For A Cause will be donated to the Mt. Tabor Monastery and the community they serve.
