Coastal Roots Farm Introduces The Final Film In Its 2022 Farm Film Series
Coastal Roots Farm – a nonprofit Jewish community farm and education center in Encinitas – is showing the final film in the 5-part ‘Farm, Film & Music’ Series, designed to educate and entertain the community about our planet.
The final showing will be “Fantastic Fungi,” which will be shown on Thursday, Oct. 13th.

The series features inspiring documentary films, local musicians, and meaningful conversations around equitable food systems, environmental justice, and caring for the planet.
Attendees learn from dedicated activists, scientists, farmers, and politicians about how regenerative agriculture has the potential to save our soil, rebuild our communities, combat climate change, and feed the world.
On October 13, the Farm’s final film – “Fantastic Fungi” – will take guests on an up-close and personal time-lapse journey to show the healing power and medicinal value of fungi. The documentary takes a close look at the restorative properties of fungi and shows you just how magical they truly are.

Doors will open at 5:30PM with live music, mingling and a chance to speak with local organizations and individuals from the community. The film screening will begin at 7PM.
All people are welcome. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets, lawn chairs, food and drinks to enjoy an evening on the Farm.
