Feeding The Soul Foundation Hosts 2nd Annual Winter SOULstice

Feeding the Soul Foundation is inviting the San Diego community to its 2nd Annual Winter SOULstice at the Oceanside Moose Lodge. Feeding the Soul Foundation is a non-profit organization that promotes creative generosity by highlighting the talent of local musicians to cultivate community and to raise money and awareness for local causes.

The event will feature music by Payo Funk, The Shift, and other musical friends of Feeding the Soul Foundation. Billy Galewood will be the host. Attendees will enjoy food from the Taco Bar by Manuela and beer and cocktails from the legendary Moose Lodge Bar. Attendees are invited to dress in their 70s best for this 21 and up event.Proceeds from the event will benefit the O’side
Kitchen Collaborative and Women’s Resource Center.

“This year Winter SOULstice is going to be another great show! We’ve gathered some amazing talent and it will be a super fun way to support our community and add soulful holiday cheer,” said Vallie Gilley, Feeding the Soul Foundation’s Founder and Executive Director.

“This event will not only benefit the Women’s Resource Center, it will also benefit our Foundation’s newest program, O’side Kitchen Collaborative. Culinary Philanthropy in Action supports a sustainable food system by diverting and rescuing edible produce and creating delicious preserved products for use in Conscious Catering and a retail product line to nourish and educate our community.”

New and gently used donations of children’s books, toys, art supplies, skateboards, clothing, and hygiene products will be accepted for the Women’s Resource Center. Bring a donation, carpool, or walk to the event and receive a raffle ticket for super groovy door prizes.
