Get Your Costume Ready for Halloween at the Station
Liberty Station is throwing its annual Halloween bash, and it’s free, family-friendly, and packed with enough activities to fill your whole afternoon.
Costumes are strongly encouraged, and half the fun is seeing what everyone else shows up in. Bring the kids, bring the dog, and get ready for a full afternoon of Halloween spirit.

Free Fun for Every Ghost and Goblin
Head to Ingram Plaza for live DJ entertainment, a Hollywood car show, inflatable obstacle courses, crafts, and trick-or-treating.
This is the kind of event where you show up for one thing and end up staying for everything. There’s genuinely something for every age group scattered throughout the plaza.

Show Off Your Best Costume
All ages are encouraged to come in their most elaborate costumes for the costume contest, no registration needed, just show up ready to compete.
There are five categories this year: ages 0-6, ages 7-15, ages 16+, group, and pets, with special prizes from Liberty Station businesses going to the winners in each one.
Group costumes especially tend to steal the show, so it’s worth coordinating with friends ahead of time.

Give Back While You Celebrate
This year, Liberty Station is partnering with Rotary District 5340 and Feeding San Diego for the Uniting to Combat Hunger Food Drive, supporting military families and veterans through Feeding San Diego’s Feeding Heroes initiative.
Bring a nonperishable food item to donate, with peanut butter, pantry staples, ready-to-eat meals, and soup topping the most-needed list (just skip the glass containers).
Every dollar donated helps provide two healthy meals to people facing hunger in San Diego County, so it’s an easy way to give back while you’re already having a good time.
