OMA’s Summer Block Party ‘Street Level Vol 2.4’ Pushes the Boundaries of Art & Music
Get ready for the coolest event hitting Oceanside this summer! Street Level Vol 2.4 is taking over the Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA), and it’s all about pushing the boundaries of art and music. This latest installment in OMA’s epic block party series is cranking up the creativity to eleven.
Inspired by their current exhibition, “More Disruption: Representational Art in Flux,” this party is set to be a mind-bending experience that’ll have you seeing art in a whole new light.
We’re talking about 50 artists flipping traditional art on its head, mixing everything from web-based imagery to hot-button social issues.
Experimental Tunes and Boundary-Pushing Art
To match that disruptive energy, OMA has lined up some seriously innovative musicians. Get ready for the genre-defying Montalban Quintet and Nicey Nice featuring Marcelo Radulovich. These North County locals are known for their improvisational skills, so expect the unexpected!
We’ve got more to feast on than just art and music. Epic Eatz Food Truck will be there to satisfy your cravings, and you’ll have the chance to rub elbows with featured artists Miguel Camacho-Padilla and David Fobes. It’s the perfect opportunity to get the inside scoop on their creative processes.
Your O’riginal Summer Experience
This isn’t just any old art event—it’s a full-on summer social experience. It’s all about creating your own O’riginal experience and connecting with the incredible artists and innovators right in our backyard.
See you there!
OMA members get in free, and it’s just $15 for non-members. If you’re 21+, you can grab a drink ticket at check-in (just don’t forget your ID!).
Can’t make it to Street Level Vol 2.4? No worries! There’s one more Street Level event coming up on September 20. Grab your tickets now, and let’s get ready to disrupt the art scene together!
Mark your calendars for Friday, August 23, from 6 PM to 8:30 PM at Oceanside Museum of Art, 704 Pier View Way, Oceanside.
