Ponce’s Mexican Restaurant Celebrates Its First Year In Del Sur
A longtime favorite for Mexican comfort food, Ponce’s Mexican Restaurant will celebrate the first anniversary of its only North County location in the Del Sur-4S Ranch neighborhood.
Half off the entire menu!
During this entire day, all dine-in guests can enjoy half off all food. Ponce’s Mexican Restaurant will also mark the occasion with live mariachi on the patio between 5 and 8 p.m. and, as part of ongoing efforts to give back to its community, will donate 100 percent of the day’s merchandise proceeds to local non-profit Students Without Limits.
The Del Sur restaurant’s one-day-only offer featuring half off all food items includes its regular menu as well as limited-time especiales:
Caldo de Mariscos, a hearty and slightly spicy seafood soup with mussels, calamari, shrimp and fish.
Mole Enchiladas featuring a duo of shredded chicken enchiladas under house-made mole.
Those looking to complement their meal with a craft beer can also enjoy new Ponce’s Mexican Lager, brewed by Fall Brewing Company for last month’s 50th anniversary of Ponce’s original Kensington location.
A long history of community involvement
On October 19, Ponce’s Mexican Restaurant also continues its long history of community involvement by donating all proceeds from the sale of Ponce’s merchandise, including a limited edition anniversary t-shirt designed by local artist Chikle, to the local 501c3 non-profit Students Without Limits, an organization that provides in-school support to at-risk minority and immigrant teens from low income families.
