San Diego Human Rights Watch Film Festival To Shine Spotlight On Changemakers

Filmmakers and human rights activists will fill the Museum of Photographic Arts for a film festival focused on social issues that face our society today. The Human Rights Watch Film Festival, returning to MOPA for its 10th year, will feature critically acclaimed films on topics such as LGBTQ rights, immigration, racial injustice, democracy and journalistic integrity.

The festival will kick off with award-winning film Gay Chorus Deep South, which won the Tribeca Audience Award Documentary in 2019. Each film screening will be followed by an audience Q&A to discuss the social issues depicted.
