Sandpiper Wood Fired Grill & Oysters Hosts Inaugural Chef’s Table With SAMsARA Wine Co.
Sandpiper Wood Fired Grill & Oysters is hosting its inaugural Chef’s Table on Thursday, November 3 at 6PM. Executive Chef Marty Fay, a protégé of the recently-departed Christine Rivera, will be joined by Santa Barbara’s SAMsARA Wine Co. head winemaker, Matt Brady, and the two will present a six-course tasting menu.
SAMsARA in September was selected as one of the Top 100 Wineries of 2022 by Wine & Spirits Magazine. Sandpiper features Wine Education Institute (WEI) Certified Advanced Sommelier Evan Vallee, who also has a Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 4 Diploma.
The six-course food menu:
- Oyster two ways
- Hokkaido scallops, passion fruit, finger lime, chive
- Boursin agnolotti, black truffle, parmesan
- Mary’s duck breast, lentils, kale, cherries
- Lamb Sausage & Chop, salsa verde, port reduction
- Caramelized quince tart, Pistachio frangipane, honey ice cream
