Vino Carta Hosts Food Pop Up With Chef Sara Hauman Of Tiny Fish Co.
Vino Carta, the sip-and-shop wine bar in Little Italy, is hosting Chef Sara Hauman from Tiny Fish Co. for a food-and-wine pairing event on Thursday, March 2.
Tiny Fish Co. features tinned sea treats made in the Pacific Northwest that highlight sustainable fish species, are sourced domestically, and boast chef-driven flavors.
Chef Sara Hauman, who grew up in Vista, is making the trip from the Portland area to showcase three of her canned delicacies: chorizo spiced mussel tostadas, rockfish mac salad + seaweed bites, and giant octopus & bean salad. All food boxes and wines by the glass will be sold a la carte.
Chef Sara, who appeared on Top Chef Portland in 2021, seeks to inspire the canned fish industry by sharing products that are sustainable, flavorful, and tell the fish’s story from water to tin.
