Wave FC Teams Up With Fire-Rescue Foundation for Community Night
San Diego Wave FC and the Fire-Rescue Foundation have joined forces for what promises to be an incredible game with serious community impact.
When the Wave take on Angel City FC at Snapdragon Stadium this Sunday, every ticket purchased through the Foundation’s special link means $5 goes directly toward supporting our local firefighters and lifeguards.

Soccer Meets Service
This partnership hits different because it’s about more than just cheering on our home team. The funds raised will go toward essential equipment, training programs, and technology that our fire-rescue crews actually need to keep us all safe.
It’s one of those rare opportunities where having a great time at a match directly translates into supporting the people who show up for our community every single day.
The first 100 fans who snag tickets through the dedicated link also get a limited-edition San Diego Wave FC First Responder Badge Reel, which is a pretty cool way to show appreciation for both our soccer team and our first responders.
Why This Matters
Wendy Moore from the San Diego Fire-Rescue Foundation put it perfectly when she talked about how exciting it is to have such a community-minded team representing San Diego. The Wave continue to prove they’re not just here to play incredible soccer—they’re here to be part of the fabric of our city.
There’s something special about being able to support women’s professional sports while simultaneously giving back to the people who risk their lives for us. It’s exactly the kind of meaningful community connection that makes San Diego’s sports scene so much more than just games and scores.

See you there!
This San Diego Wave FC game supporting the Fire-Rescue Foundation is exactly the kind of community spirit we love.
