What’s The Buzz? It’s World Bee Day at the Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum
The Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum is partnering with other Balboa Park and community organizations to celebrate World Bee Day at the garden!
Join World Bee Day and Support a Vital Cause!
World Bee Day recognizes the role bees play in sustaining a healthy ecosystem, ensuring our food supply, and, ultimately, the future of humanity.
The purpose of the event is to raise awareness of the vital importance of bees and all pollinators, the threats they face, and the actions every individual can take to protect them.
Air and Space Museum, Natural History Museum, SD Beekeeping Society, SD Youth Symphony, CA Native Plant Society, Hives for Heroes, and other groups will showcase bees through exhibits, music, interactive demonstrations, microscopic observations, art, and educational hands-on activities.
See you there!
This fun and purposeful community event will be held on Sunday, May 19, 10 AM to 2 PM in the Upper Garden area of the Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum. And, of course, the stars of the show will be live honey bees!
The event is free with admission! For more info, visit here.
See you there, San Diego!
