best places to watch the super bowl in san diego

Choosing the right location to watch the Super Bowl is a big decision!

To make your task a little easier, we’ve done the research for you and put together a list of some of the best places to watch the Super Bowl in San Diego as the New England Patriots face off against the Atlanta Falcons.

Kick off is at 3:30pm, but you’ll want to grab your barstool early if you hope to sit during the game! Oh… and GO PATS!!!

Whiskey Girl – Gaslamp

Looking for a Super Bowl party that truly understands the meaning of the word “party?” Whiskey Girl has all the bases covered for a good time. From drink specials on beer, Bloody Marys and Mimosas to the beats of 91X and Super DJ Romeo, this party is ready to rock well into the night.

Double Deuce – Gaslamp

Super Bowl snacks are almost as important as the game itself. Double Deuce’s $35 all-inclusive ticket includes an all-you-can-eat buffet of tailgate staples from 3pm until halftime when a chips-and-salsa cart takes its place. As if that’s not enough to convince you to choose Double Deuce, you also get all-you-can-drink featured drafts and premium liquor from 3pm until the end of the game. Sounds like a touchdown of a deal!

Tin Roof – Gaslamp

Between the giant projector and 25 additional TVs, you’ll have no excuse for missing the action at the Tin Roof. There’s also 100 ounce beer towers, a DJ for commercial breaks and giveaways that you don’t want to miss! Book your table now to reserve your spot at this exciting party!

Florent – Gaslamp

Want to feel like you’re part of the action? Get immersed in the game at Florent, home of the largest LED television in downtown. You’ll enjoy an up-close look at every pass and play on the 17 foot screen while indulging in one of their delicious flavors of wings, like Salt & Pepper or Habanero BBQ. Reservations are recommended and bottle service packages are available.

Wavehouse – Mission Beach

What better way to watch the Super Bowl in San Diego than at the beach? The Wavehouse in Mission Beach gives you the opportunity to view the game on their huge 18 foot wide LED screen while the waves crash against the shore outside. Want to go all out? You can rent a cabana with bottle service and watch the game in true San Diego style.

Draft Republic – UTC

With a 100 inch projection screen displaying every play of the game, you’ll feel like you’re part of the action at Draft Republic. Hungry? Take advantage of their $15.95 Burger and Beer special while you watch the big game. Choose any burger or sandwich and pair it with fries, a side salad and a draft beer. Keep the party going with $4 drink specials all day, too!

Green Dragon Tavern – Carlsbad

For Patriots fans in particular, the Green Dragon Tavern & Museum in Carlsbad is the place to be on Super Bowl Sunday. The restaurant is a self-proclaimed favorite gathering spot for San Diego’s Patriots fan base. With seven large screen LED TVs, there’s a good view of the action from any table. Enjoy all-day happy hour specials, $10 bottomless mimosas with the purchase of an entree and $2 Corona specials. It’s expected to be a hot spot in North County for Super Bowl Sunday so be sure to make your reservations now!
