La Jolla Music Society’s January lineup at The Conrad is about to make your New Year seriously spectacular. Classical Stars Light Up The Baker-Baum

The legendary Jeremy Denk brings his piano mastery to San Diego on January 10. This MacArthur “Genius” isn’t just any pianist—he’s also a New York Times bestselling author who’s bringing a unique program celebrating women composers alongside Schumann and Brahms classics.

The Conrad

Just two days later, prepare to witness history as 19-year-old violin sensation Guido Sant’Anna makes his San Diego debut. This Brazilian phenom became the first South American to win the prestigious Fritz Kreisler Competition, and critics can’t stop raving about his incredible maturity and depth.

The month continues with musical powerhouses Anthony McGill and Emanuel Ax teaming up on January 29 for an evening that pairs one of today’s most iconic pianists with a GRAMMY-nominated clarinet master.
