Pi Day Returns At North Italia!
Handcrafted, modern Italian concept North Italia in San Diego will celebrate Pi Day again this year with the return of a regionally-inspired pizza that represents the freshest ingredients and diverse culinary traditions of San Diego. For a limited time, guests in Del Mar and Fashion Valley can enjoy the new White Clam and Bacon pizza featuring baby artichoke heart, roasted fennel, and charred lemon for $19. This unique regional pizza addition will temporarily replace the rotating “Chef’s Daily Pizza.”
“The three word that I would use to describe this pizza would be savory, clean and balanced,” says Chef Patrick Ruiz of the Del Mar location. “Given the fresh ingredients that this pizza has, they all end up contrasting well with each other. The ingredients are not overpowering but perfectly balanced, and you can taste every flavor that is offered in each bite.”
Helping San Diego fight hunger
With each purchase of a specialty regional pizza, North Italia will donate a percentage of its proceeds to select local organizations dedicated to fighting hunger in San Diego. This limited-time pizza will be available for dine-in, takeout via online ordering here, or delivery via DoorDash. In addition, North Italia will be offering one week of free delivery via DoorDash from March 21-28.
The White Clam and Bacon pizza will be available from March 14 to April 11, 2022 at the Del Mar and Fashion Valley locations in San Diego, CA only.
