SD Loyal Soccer Club Welcomes Fans Back To Torero Stadium At Full Capacity

San Diego Loyal Soccer Club (SD Loyal) is playing their first game to a full crowd (6,100 fans) since March 7, 2020 this Saturday, June 19. This match, vs. rival Phoenix Rising FC, marks the two-year anniversary of the launch of San Diego Loyal.

The entire stadium will celebrate the city and what it means to be a part of this extraordinary community through the following:

  • Pregame with supporters group, The Locals.
  • The first 3,000 fans will receive a 619 Day Rally Towel.
  • Council President Jennifer Campbell (District 2) announces June 19, 2021 to be “San Diego Loyal 619 Day” in the City of San Diego.
  • Debut of SD Loyal’s “Loud & Proud” fan section – the first sports organization to dedicate a section to those that support and celebrate the LGBTQ community all season long.

Up to 100 LGBTQ athletes from different sports leagues within the community will parade around the pitch before making their way to the section for the first time in SD Loyal history, and Mayor Todd Gloria will lead a “Loud & Proud” ribbon-cutting ceremony.
