The Seventh House, recently opened on University Avenue in North Park, is serving up dinner with a side of divination!

Opened near the end of 2022 where Metl Bar once stood, Culinary Director Preston Cobb and Owner/Chef Alberto Morreale have unlocked every astrology-lovers dream!

The Seventh House is an astrology lover’s dream

The seventh house in astrology is all about relationships, romantic or not, and navigating the world around us together. In other words, the seventh house symbolizes your “cosmic plus-one.”

Their interior décor is intricate and whimsical, complete with enormous painted tarot cards and mirrors on the ceiling above their velvet green booths.

You’ll also find vines and greenery lining ledges, glass chandeliers, a couple of hidden carousel horses, and the most gorgeous bathroom sinks you’ve ever seen!

And, of course, daily tarot card readings.

French-inspired menu

The ambiance will draw you in, but it’s the French-inspired dishes combined with subtle Baja flavors using the finest organic ingredients and lively libations that will make your taste buds swoon and keep you coming back for more.

From the brunch menu, enjoy Crème Brulee Banana Crepes, Smoked Salmon Benedict, or Vanilla Bean French Toast.

From the dinner menu, enjoy Poached Pear Bruschetta, Black Ink Linguine Pappardelle, or Duck Gnocchi. Pair with an Agua De Luna with boba, rosemary coconut milk, Alkkemist gin, and butterfly pea tea float.

Or go for The Green Number, with lemon, fresh OJ, mint simple, combier le bleu, Las Calis Gin Nativo, egg white, and matcha.

And don’t forget to enjoy table-side Champagne Showers with your very own champagne fountain!

See you there!

Tarot card readings are done nightly starting at 6PM.

The Seventh House in North Park is located at 2835 University Ave, SAN DIEGO, CA 92104. For more info and updates, visit the website here and follow them on Instagram and Facebook.

See you there, San Diego!
