Join us on Saturday, October 29 at the newly revamped Rooftop Bar for Wonderland at The Rooftop: Welcome to the Mad Tea Party. Complete with a photo booth, live DJ, seasonal cocktail specials, and bottle service at the cabanas, the night will also include a costume contest.

San Diego Gaslamp Halloween Pub Crawl

Giardino’s Halloween Bash

Giardino Neighborhood Cucina is hosting its first annual Halloween Bash, a party taking over both Giardino and their next-door sister restaurant, Zest Wine Bistro. The 21 and up event features multiple bars, taro card readers, horror films and a speakeasy room.

For the wildly curious, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, The US GRANT Executive Chef Mark Kropczynski invites a daring 13 to a Halloween dining experience, The Mad Hatter Tea Party. This bizarre and twisted dining experience invites 13 guests to dive into an interactive 13-course tasting menu complete with cocktail pairings. Costumes are encouraged, daring diners are required.

Menu highlights include the “eat me” course, with a lemon and miracle berry encapsulated oyster, a “smoke and mirror” course with butter-poached lobster, a “skull popper” course with smoked braised lamb, and more.

PAWloween Party

Mavericks Beach Club is hosting a PAWloween Party on Wednesday, October 26th from 5PM – 10PM! Not only will there be a doggy costume contest, but there will also be toys and treats for all the pups who stop by. The PB hotspot even has a special Mutt Menu, where furry friends can enjoy bites like grilled chicken breast with white rice – yum!

Horror Story: Halloween Party

Get ready to be horrified because Mavericks Beach Club will be kicking off the spookiest holiday of the year with a Horror Story: Halloween Party. On Saturday, October 29th from 10AM – 2AM, the beach bar found along Garnet will be celebrating with a twist on the hit show American Horror Story, where each bar is themed like a different AHS season.

From the Asylum to Freak Show, be prepared for DJs and scary drink specials, along with contortionists, acrobats, scary acts, and plenty of more entertainment from 8PM – 11PM.

EMO Halloween Party at The Holding Company

Ocean Beach’s three-story music venue, bar and restaurant is hosting its very own FREE EMO Halloween Party with performances by Sang The Sorrow, Blazin Jane and Lust for Life on Friday, October 28 starting at 5PM. Chula Vista’s 2nd Annual Día De Los Muertos Celebration

After lots of anticipation, Downtown Chula Vista is going above and beyond to celebrate the long-awaited 2nd Annual Día De Los Muertos Celebration on Saturday, October 29th.

Known as the biggest Día De Los Muertos Celebration in the South Bay, this free community event will feature live music, an altar and Catrín/Catrina ensemble competition, face painting, beautiful flower arrangements from Tallo and Pan de Muerto from Dulcet, and a special screening of Disney Pixar’s Coco beginning at 7PM for the entire family to enjoy.

Escape From Maya

Coco Maya kicks off Halloween weekend with Escape from Maya on Thursday, October 27th. The party starts at 6PM to 10PM, with a Mayan-themed Fire Show from 7PM to 9PM. Best Individual Costume wins $100, Best Couple Costume wins $150. Coco Maya is Little Italy’s pan-Carribean paradise, where hints of ocean, smoke, and char are present throughout the menu, and the vibrant open-air atmosphere just might wake the dead to life this Halloween.

Haunted Hotel at The Brick Hotel

Take the elevator to the fourth floor of The Brick Hotel up to Cococabana Rooftop Deck for a Haunted Hotel Halloween Weekend. A haunting music lineup starts Friday, October 28th, as Gabe Vega spins 8PM to close. Saturday, October 29th, We’s up from 8PM to close.  Take to the rooftop to witness the swarm of ghouls and goblins in Downtown Oceanside from above. 

Party downstairs on the ground floor at Q&A Restaurant and Oyster Bar. Order the Voodoo Carre made with cognac, rye, amaro nonino, peach balsamic, bitters, orange zest, that comes with a dramatic plume of applewood smoke presented tableside!

Ghouls, goblins and witches of San Diego, unite! The Westgate Hotel is putting a wicked twist on its renowned Afternoon Tea experience this Halloween weekend. On Oct. 28, 29 and 30, from 1PM-3:30PM, come dressed in your most bewitching costume and celebrate spooky season in the downtown San Diego hotel’s Le Fontainebleau Room.

The deliciously magical afternoon includes a tower of house-made Halloween pastries, savory tea sandwitches, a selection of gourmet teas and a host of spellbinding treats. Tea for the 21+ crowd includes a glass of boo-zy bubbles while kids will receive a take-home surprise. The cash-only Imperial Bar will also be open and serving specialty spooky cocktails for guests.

Día De Los Muertos Celebration At The Rady Shell

For the second Día de los Muertos Celebration at The Rady Shell, the San Diego Symphony will present an evening honoring Latin music and culture, and memorializing those who have passed on. The fabulous Grammy® award-winning, Mariachi Los Camperos, headlines the event and is joined by the skilled dancers of Grupo Folclórico Chiquina Palafox. Also, the evening will feature special Día de los Muertos food and drinks available for purchase from The Rady Shell Provisions and Día de los Muertos park activation activities.

Halloween Concert at The Spreckels Organ Pavilion

Spreckels Organ Society, a non-profit organization curating concerts and performances in the heart of Balboa Park, is hosting a special Halloween concert and silent movie on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 6PM with the “Phantom of the Opera,” accompanied by the Spreckels Pipe Organ, the largest open air musical instrument in the world!

The event will begin with a pre-concert talk with the artists at 5:30PM, along with a silent auction and games. At 6PM, Victoria Robertson, soprano, and Bernardo Bermúdez, tenor, will sing excerpts from the popular Broadway show, “Phantom of the Opera.” At 6:30PM, the 1925 “Phantom of the Opera” silent movie will be portrayed on a big screen atop the Spreckels Organ Pavilion stage, accompanied by Mark Herman, organist.

Goff Family Pumpkin Patch

The Goff Family Pumpkin Patch returns to Liberty Station from September 23rd through October 31st at the Sellers Plaza putting green, located on the corner of Historic Decatur Road and Perry Road. Set on a half-acre plot, the month-long pop-up will feature over 10,000 pumpkins for ‘picking,’ festive family photo ops, lawn games, beer on tap each Friday and Saturday, and more spooky season programming to be announced in the coming weeks.

The Haunted Trail

The Haunted Trail of Balboa Park is BACK, with two haunts in one; the 3,500 square foot eXperiment Maze and a mile-long terrifying outdoor Trail through twisted pines and gnarled oaks.

Little Italy Announces The Return Of Trick-Or-Treat On India Street

Little Italy’s Trick-or-Treat On India St

The Little Italy Association is excited to celebrate Halloween with this year’s Trick-or-Treat on India Street on Friday, October 28, 2022. Mini witches and monsters of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their best costumes and enjoy an evening of authentic trick-or-treating throughout the neighborhood.

A map including participating businesses will be available for pickup at the Piazza della Famiglia. The 10,000-square-foot space will be activated with Halloween-themed music and decked out with Halloween décor and photo opps.

Since Little Italy is an urban neighborhood, the event was created as a way for the kids in the neighborhood to still get the authentic trick-or-treat experience by walking along India St to collect candy from local businesses, dressed up in their very best Halloween costumes!

Halloween at the Station

Point Loma’s naval training center turned community hub, Liberty Station, is holding its annual Halloween at the Station on Sunday, Oct. 30 from 12PM to 4PM. This all-ages, FREE event includes live music, crafts, entertainers and an all-ages costume contest, with a pets round too! Additionally, select Liberty Station businesses will open their doors for attendees to enjoy trick-or-treating.
