Discover 30+ Local Ice Cream Makers at North Park’s Scoop San Diego

The 8th Annual Scoop San Diego Ice Cream Festival returns to North Park for an afternoon of frozen treats, community, and a genuinely good cause.

Powered by Hollandia Dairy, the one-day event brings together over 30 local ice cream, gelato, paleta, and frozen treat makers – and every dollar of net proceeds goes directly to Feeding San Diego, a local hunger-relief organization that provided more than 31 million meals last year.

Everything Happening at the Festival

Over 30 vendors will take over North Park with one-day-only creations alongside familiar favorites – everything from classic scoops to wildly creative frozen concoctions.

Beyond the tasting, the afternoon includes live entertainment, family-friendly activities, interactive activations, a dedicated Chill Zone to relax between scoops, and a Pup Refreshment Area sponsored by Pure Pawsh.

Celebrity judges Sam Zien (Sam the Cooking Guy), Top Chef alum Zuliya Khawaja, and Bachelor Nation’s Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs will also be on hand to crown the festival’s Best Flavor Award.

Two Ways to Experience the Festival

General Admission tickets are $45 and include ten shareable two-ounce samples – roughly three and a half scoops – to work your way through the vendor lineup. The festival is not fenced or gated, so anyone is welcome to enjoy the atmosphere, but a ticket is required to receive samples.

For a more elevated experience, the First Scoop Experience at $90 gets you exclusive early entry an hour before General Admission opens, priority access to every vendor, and select small-batch flavors available only during that first hour.

The ticket also includes an Ice Cream Amor x Mon Chourie dessert collaboration with ice cream-filled Korean cream puffs, a live-printed custom tote, limited-edition keepsakes, and full General Admission access for the rest of the day.

This year, Scoop San Diego launches an ongoing partnership with Feeding San Diego – and the impact is real. Every dollar of net proceeds supports hunger-relief programs that reached over 350 community partners and delivered more than 31 million meals last year.
