Puesto Turns 10!

Ten years ago, Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar shook up the world of Mexican cuisine when they opened the doors to their first location in La Jolla, California in February 2012 – and look how far they’ve come!

Bringing a never-before-seen contemporary and innovative flair to traditional Mexico City-style cuisine, Puesto started with its first location with a walk-up taco line, and now boasts nine full-service restaurants and two sports stadium locations spanning from San Diego to Orange County to the Bay Area.

Nearly 20 million tacos served!

In 10 years they have served more than 18.3 million tacos, enough that if they were lined up end to end, their length would span all the way from San Diego to Mexico City.

Celebrate with tacos…of course!

The team at Puesto is reflecting fondly on all the tacos, margaritas, and memories that led them to this moment. The anniversary festivities will continue throughout the year, with a special 10-year-anniversary cerveza available at all Puesto locations and to go in a custom growler, bringing back their Taco of the Month promotion featuring Mexico-City favorites, and more.

On its official anniversary, Thursday, February 10, 2022, Puesto is inviting guests into their neighborhood Puesto to celebrate with one free taco to be perfectly paired with its 10th anniversary Celebration Cerveza.

See you there, San Diego!
