California Wine Festival Returns to Carlsbad in Style
The California Wine Festival, a nationally recognized event series, is proud to announce its return in 2024 to celebrate over 20 years of bringing attention to the beautiful wines, foods, and landscapes of California.
Following a successful slate of 2023 events, the California Wine Festival will return to Carlsbad with a lineup of signature oceanfront tasting opportunities and everything that makes California the idyllic destination for wine enthusiasts!
California Wine Festival Carlsbad Schedule of Events
The festival pays homage to the abundant offerings from winemaking regions across the Golden State, paired with gourmet food selections from local dining establishments, with live entertainment and expansive coastal views.
The signature event in each location will feature 200 wines from 50 wineries, gourmet food samples, live music, and picturesque settings with ocean backdrops.
SUNSET RARE & RESERVE TASTING

Sip on fine wines and taste a variety of delicacies at the beautiful Park Hyatt Aviara Resort Golf Club & Spa’s newly renovated Lawn.

The quintessential California wine-tasting experience—sun, sea, food, wine, and music—all come together at this sun-splashed wine fest overlooking lush rolling hills with the shimmering Pacific beyond at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort’s Heron Lawn.
By 1 PM, the joint is jumping at this Camelot-like white-topped tent village.
Wine oenophiles will find hundreds of fine wines, regional craft brews, and a dizzying variety of foods to sample. Artisanal cheeses, breads, olive oil, as well as shellfish, salads, chocolates, cakes, and more!
A live band keeps the beat for this all-day feast for the senses, where wine and food are king and queen.

Over Two Decades of Celebrating California Wine

In addition to the wine and culinary components, each festival aims to advance charitable organizations from each event locale.
Many of the events will feature a silent auction during the Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting to benefit organizations, including Sandy Feet Initiative, Surfrider Foundation of South Orange County, Golden Rule Charity, and Food Bank of Santa Barbara County.
