Wynston’s Blue Ribbons just made San Diego proud! At this year’s National Ice Cream Association Awards, Wynston’s took home 1st place (Blue Ribbon honors!) for both Strawberry and Vanilla (Old Reliable)—a huge achievement in the ice cream world.
Judged by Cornell University’s Dr. Sam Alcaine, this honor recognizes the best of the best when it comes to taste, texture, and quality.

While Wynston’s FTW Chocolate has held Blue Ribbon status before, Strawberry and Vanilla (Old Reliable) have always come close—until now. This year, they finally clinched the top spot!
“For years, we’ve been chasing this honor,” says Wynston’s founder Sarah Wynn. “Winning Blue Ribbons for all three of our classic flavors is a dream come true. These are the flavors every ice cream shop is judged by, and to have ours recognized at this level means everything to us.”
