Wave FC Turns 5 – Let’s Pack Snapdragon for the Home Opener

Five seasons already. San Diego Wave FC is celebrating its 5 year anniversary, and there’s no better way to mark it than showing up strong for the 2026 home opener at Snapdragon Stadium.

Season 5 officially kicks off this Saturday, and the club is starting things off the right way – with a full stadium, a prematch Fan Fest, and a limited-edition 5th anniversary rally towel giveaway.

If you’ve been with Wave since the beginning or you’ve been meaning to make it to a match, this is the one to circle.

Home Opener vs Houston Dash

Wave FC takes on the Houston Dash to open the 2026 season, and the energy is always different for Game One. There’s something about that first match – fresh kits, fresh momentum, and the whole stadium buzzing.

The prematch Fan Fest, presented by La Croix, gets things going before kickoff, so it’s worth arriving early and soaking it all in. Expect music, activations, and that unmistakable Wave crowd energy.

Rally towels are limited, so the earlier we’re in our seats, the better.

New Season, New Kit

Season 5 also introduces the Balboa Park Kit, now part of the 2026 lineup. If we’ve been waiting to refresh our match-day look, this is the time. The full 2026 collection is available now, with new styles ready for the season ahead.
