Meet Artist Alexander Arshansky at an Evening With the Artist at Andaz San Diego
Andaz San Diego and Sparks Gallery are opening up the Andaz Gallery space for an intimate evening of art, conversation, and community.
An Evening with the Artist gives guests the chance to meet San Diego-based painter Alexander Arshansky in person, explore his vibrant original works, and connect with fellow art enthusiasts over small bites and drinks. The event is free and open to the public.
More Than 1000 Paintings and Counting
Originally from Moscow, Alexander Arshansky has created more than 1,000 paintings since beginning his professional artistic journey in 2008.
His move to the United States – and the dramatic shift in culture and environment that came with it – became the foundation of his creative voice.
His work blends bright color palettes, rounded cubist elements, and layered visual storytelling, often revealing multiple narratives within a single piece. It’s the kind of art that rewards a closer look.
Art Worth Lingering Over
Arshansky’s work is currently on display throughout Andaz San Diego in a featured exhibition presented in partnership with Sparks Gallery.
The works will remain on display throughout the coming months – but An Evening with the Artist is a rare opportunity to experience the collection alongside the man who created it.
This is a rare opportunity to experience the collection alongside the man who created it. Hear about his creative process firsthand and ask the questions you’d normally only wonder about standing in front of a gallery wall.

Small Bites, Good Company, and Great Art
The Andaz Gallery space will be set up for mingling, with chef’s choice small bites and a banquet bar with beverages available for purchase.
It’s a relaxed, social format that makes art feel accessible rather than intimidating – exactly the kind of evening that makes you want to stay longer than you planned.
