Dance Until Sunrise at Bachata Sensual Festival SoCal in La Jolla
Bachata Sensual was invented in Spain. Its creators are spending five days teaching it in La Jolla.
Bachata Sensual Festival SoCal brings its first edition to the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine, presented by Bachata Sensual America. Three full days of workshops, nightly socials that run past sunrise, and a teaching roster flown in from Spain.
The Creators of Bachata Sensual Fly in From Spain
Korke & Judith built this style in Spain, and they are on the schedule all weekend. Their approach is technical: musicality, partner connection, and movement you understand rather than memorize, all anchored in the roots of bachata.
They are joined by fellow Spanish instructors Alonso & Noelia and Irene & Tomas, plus Emily & Tonnam, Cisco & Alex, Joe & Michelle, David & Bere, and Julie Hansen. More names are still being announced.
Workshops by Day, Socials Until 6 AM
Friday workshops run 2 PM to 6 PM. Saturday and Sunday both start at noon and go until 6 PM, which hands the entire evening over to the dance floor.
Friday and Saturday socials go from midnight to 6 AM. Sunday winds down a little earlier, 10 PM to 3 AM. Thursday opens the weekend with a pre-party from 9 PM to 2 AM at a location still to be announced.

Six DJs, From Houston to the Bay Area
DJ The Don and DJ Valeriia come in from Houston. DJ Encanto represents the Bay Area, DJ Tim the Midwest, and DJ Jassy and DJ A-Line make the short drive down from Los Angeles.
