Art, Vinyl, and Good Vibes Take Over MCASD
The Winter MKT is launching MCASD’s December events with a bang! The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego is transforming into a one-day cultural wonderland where vinyl DJs spin beats, local artisans showcase their coolest creations, and some of San Diego’s tastiest treats come together under one roof.
Vinyl Vibes and Local Treasures
Some of SoCal’s finest vinyl DJs are taking over the turntables, spinning pure gold all day long. We’re talking about stellar sets from Philip Cho, Laurie Piña, Tsugu Itagaki, and Gemini Touch—basically a who’s who of the Hi-Fi scene.
Shop Till You Drop
Twenty-plus vendors are bringing their A-game with everything from Japanese streetwear to artisanal goodies. Fuel your shopping spree with treats from Holy Matcha, Uo Nigiri, and Yess / Cafe Oh! No, then browse through cool finds from Battenwear, Hightide Store, and The Noble Paperie.
Double the Fun
Why stop at one day? Part Time Lover, San Diego’s hottest Hi-Fi listening bar, is hosting pre and after-parties on November 30 and December 1. Because good vibes should never be contained to just one day.
See you there!
Join the fun at MCASD, 700 Prospect Street, La Jolla, on Sunday, December 1, from 11 AM to 5 PM. MCASD members get early access starting at 10 AM.
The best part? Entry to the market is totally free, and you can explore MCASD’s mind-blowing exhibitions for half price. How’s that for a perfect Sunday?
