Bob Moses & Cannons Bring the Afterglow Tour to the Rady Shell

San Diego’s outdoor concert season is heating up, and this one has all the makings of a memorable night. Bob Moses and Cannons are joining forces for The Afterglow Tour. They’re bringing it straight to the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park.

Bob Moses and Cannons Afterglow Tour

Two Acts, One Unforgettable Night at the Rady Shell

If you haven’t seen the Rady Shell at night with a great act on stage, this is a good one to start with. The open-air waterfront setting pairs perfectly with the kind of atmospheric, feel-it-in-your-chest music both of these acts deliver.

Bob Moses: The Duo That Bridges the Club and the Stage

Bob Moses – the Vancouver-bred duo of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance – built their name in the Brooklyn underground before taking their sound to stages at Glastonbury, Coachella, Burning Man, and beyond.

Their sound sits in that sweet spot between moody rock and dance-floor energy, with guitar-driven melodies, electronic depth, and lyrics that mean something.

Their latest album, Blink, explores what it means to find meaning in a fast-moving world, adding a reflective dimension to their already Grammy-winning catalog. Expect a set that draws from across their discography, including the multi-week number one hit “Love Brand New.”

Cannons: Dreamy, Danceable, and Absolutely Electric Live

The LA trio Cannons – Michelle Joy on vocals, Ryan Clapham on guitar, and Paul Davis on drums and keys – have been on an upward trajectory that shows no signs of slowing.

Their breakout hit “Fire for You” went RIAA Gold and topped Alternative Radio. It also found its way into shows like Never Have I Ever and American Horror Story.

With four albums behind them and new music on the way in 2026, this tour lands at an exciting moment for the band. Their blend of dreamy electro-pop, disco shimmer, and nocturnal alt-rock translates beautifully in a live setting. Furthermore, the Rady Shell’s waterfront backdrop is going to make it hit differently.

VIP Packages Worth Knowing About

There are four packages to choose from. On the Bob Moses side, In a Blink gets you a full meet-and-greet and an individual photo. It also gets you a pre-show Q&A, exclusive merch, and priority entry. Afterimage covers the group Q&A and a digital group photo. Exclusive merch and priority entry are also included.

For Cannons fans, Before the Lights includes soundcheck access, an on-stage tour, an intimate Q&A, and a digital group photo. Into the Glow gets you soundcheck access, a Cannons Q&A, and an on-stage group photo. All four packages include first access to merch and a commemorative laminate and lanyard.
