Jingle Jets is back aboard the USS Midway Museum for a fourth year, running select nights from November to December on the downtown waterfront.
A Million Lights and a Tree That Talks Back
More than a million lights go up across the ship this season, and the newest addition is a talking Christmas tree named Admiral Evergreen. Call sign: Tinsel.
He has big eyes, a warm smile, and an aviation twist, and he holds court every single Jingle Jets night. Expect your kids to have a lot of questions for him.
Model Trains, a Penguin Hunt, and Reindeer Games
The traditions locals keep coming back for are all still here. Model trains wind through snow-covered villages and miniature holiday scenes, and Midway’s Magical Penguin Search hands you a magic wand and a set of clues for a scavenger hunt across the ship.
Reindeer Games have been expanded this year, Santa’s Sweethearts carolers are performing, and you can write letters to Santa and to military members. Santa’s Christmas Virtual Reality Ride returns too.
Holiday eats and treats have been reworked, and a cash bar pours festive cocktails and non-alcoholic options for the adults.
Bring the Dog on November 29 or December 13
Two Sundays are set aside as Bring Your Dog Nights this season, doubled from last year. Both come with a Jingle Jets dog bowl giveaway, limited to one per person with a dog in tow.
Relief areas are set up around the ship, so you can plan a full night instead of a quick lap.
$30 Adults, $20 Kids, and a New Any-Day Ticket
General admission runs $30 for adults and $20 for youth ages four to 12, and children three and under get in free. Midway members save 20 percent, at $24 and $16.
New this year are any-day tickets, which let you turn up on whatever night works instead of committing to one. Those run $40 adults / $30 youth, or $32 and $24 for members.
Every other ticket is date- and time-specific, sold online only, with no refunds or exchanges once purchased. It runs rain or shine, and last entry is 7:30 PM, so leave yourself room.
