The Creative Minds Behind Snake Oil Cocktail Co. Celebrate The Opening Of Julep Venue
The creative minds behind Snake Oil Cocktail Company announce the opening of JULEP Venue, one of San Diego’s newest and largest multipurpose venues.
Located at the base of Mission Hills in the heart of the city, JULEP features a bright and expansive main hall with high gabled ceilings and 12,000+ square feet of flowing indoor-outdoor dining and event space.
Originally built in 1976, the palatial building that is home to JULEP recently underwent a $2 million dollar renovation to overhaul the interior spaces to accommodate 500+ patrons. Improvements include a brand new standing seam roof, three roll-up doors connecting patio spaces to the interior, a smart HVAC system, upgraded prep kitchen, av-equipped private meeting rooms and retail storefront improvements.
The space will also serve as the new headquarters of its spirited founders, Snake Oil Cocktail Company, as a jumping off point for offsite beverage catering and cocktail consulting services.
In addition to the Grand Opening of JULEP Venue, Snake Oil Cocktail Company will be celebrating 10 years of craft cocktail service in 2020. Playing into the character of the name JULEP, we will be celebrating with an early spring, off to the derby vibe. You can expect a little old-fashioned southern hospitality mixed with San Diego modern.
