Moniker Cocktail Co Presents Baja Summer | A Baja Wine And Food Tasting
Moniker Cocktail Co. and Moniker General are bringing Baja’s hippest wineries including Bruma, Adobe De Guadalupe, Viñas De La Erre, and Casa Jipi to Moniker’s stylish Liberty Station abode for an alfresco “BAJA SUMMER” pairing event.
The multi-course wine dinner spotlights four bucket-list pairings that scream summer adventures in Baja—think bright, expressive flavors and fresh ingredients, with a focus on community at its core.
The menu spotlights a culinary collaboration between San Diego’s farming cool kids at Lindfors Farms, a blossoming boutique farm operation out of El Cajon, alongside chef Logan Kendall of North Park’s Freshman Year, a restaurant serving up ’90s nostalgic comfort food.
Baja Summer Menu
- 2021 Bruma “Vino de la Casa” Rosado of Carmenere
Pairing: Baja Shrimp Ceviche Tostada marinated with Lindfors Farms green onion, zucchini, tomato, pink peppercorn & lime with smoked tomato aioli
- 2020 Casa Jipi, Sauvignon Blanc
Pairing: Big Eye Tuna Sashimi with smoked Chamoy, mango, mint infused Lindfors Farms zucchini & crispy kale.
- 2020 Viñas de la Erre, Tempranillo
Pairing: Creamed Street Corn with lime, salsa macha, Cotija, and smoked Lindfors Farms tomato & basil
- 2020 Adobe de Guadalupe, “Jardin Secreto”
- Tempranillo, Mourvedre, Nebbiolo and Grenache Blend
Pairing: Smoked Beet in Duck Fat with Oaxacan mole, queso fresco, pickled Lindfors Farms bell pepper, cilantro, & their marinated arugula.
This event is being hosted at Moniker General in Liberty Station by the full-service beverage catering team at Moniker Cocktail Co. in partnership with Atrium Wine Brokers to bring awareness to a new catering package for Moniker Events.
