Explore 15+ Art Stops – and a Brand-New Mural – at North Park Gallery Night
North Park already has one of the more creative stretches in the city, and once a month, the whole neighborhood makes it official. North Park Gallery Night throws open 15-plus doors across local businesses, storefronts, and creative spaces for a free evening of art, surprise discoveries, and the occasional piece you’ll want to take home.
No Route, No Rules – the Whole Neighborhood is the Gallery
There’s no set starting point and no prescribed loop. Pick a corner, start walking, and follow whatever looks interesting. Some stops are galleries. Others are shops or studios hosting artists for the night. A few will be spots you walk past every week and have never thought twice about – until now.
Kayl Johnson Unveils a Mural at North Park Optometry
The standout moment of this Gallery Night is an unveiling: artist Kayl Johnson is putting a new mural on the wall at North Park Optometry. Public art debuts don’t happen every month, and this one’s worth timing your route around.
Street Art Curated by Way to Go SD
Alongside the gallery stops, Way to Go SD is bringing the neighborhood’s public art into focus – murals, painted utility boxes, and the kind of work that blends into the block until someone points it out. Gallery Night makes the streets themselves part of the experience.

Walk Out With Something on Your Wall
Many of the artists showing work will sell directly. If something stops you, there’s a good chance you can take it home. Worth asking.
