Support a Great Cause With a Stunning Dinner at Callie

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening of food, wine, and giving back as Feeding San Diego and Chef Travis Swikard team up for the second annual Pairings with a Purpose Dinner Party.

This exclusive Feeding San Diego fundraiser will be hosted at Callie, one of San Diego’s most celebrated restaurants.

Funds raised from the event will directly support Feeding San Diego’s School Pantry Program, providing critical hunger relief to local kids and their families.

Pairings with a Purpose Dinner Party

An Exquisite Dining Experience

Chef Travis Swikard, a San Diego native and the creative force behind Callie, will close his East Village restaurant for the evening to deliver a multi-course dinner unlike any other.

Each course will showcase his Mediterranean-inspired culinary artistry, perfectly paired with wines selected by Callie’s lead sommelier, Tracy Latimer. With Callie earning accolades like a Michelin Bib Gourmand and recognition as one of the best new restaurants in America, this is a night not to miss.

More Than Just Dinner

The evening will feature live and silent auctions, a paddle raise, and special guest Troy Johnson—Food Network personality and owner of San Diego Magazine—as the host.

All proceeds will benefit the School Pantry Program, which provides nutritious food to families through local schools, ensuring kids have access to healthy meals even on nights and weekends.

Why It Matters

“As a father and a chef, providing for others—especially children—is incredibly important to me,” said Chef Travis Swikard. “Partnering with Feeding San Diego allows us to help ensure no child goes hungry. This event is about more than food; it’s about making a meaningful impact in our community.”

Feeding San Diego’s School Pantry Program transforms school spaces into welcoming food distribution hubs, empowering parents to pick up fresh produce and pantry staples for their families.

From Oceanside to Otay Mesa, and even rural areas like Boulevard and Pauma Valley, the program makes a tangible difference for families across the county.
