Super Diamond Brings the Neil Diamond Experience to Belly Up – And it Rocks

If you’ve ever found yourself humming “Sweet Caroline” or belting out “Cherry Cherry” when you thought no one was listening, this one’s for you.

Super Diamond is the San Francisco-based Neil Diamond tribute band that’s been wowing crowds since 1993. Now, they are heading to Belly Up in Solana Beach for a night of nostalgia and rock.

Super Diamond San Francisco Band

More Than Just a Tribute Act

Fronted by vocalist Randy Cordeiro – known on stage as “Surreal Neil” – the band has earned features in Rolling Stone, Spin, and The New York Times. Additionally, they have made appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, CNN, and VH-1.

The full lineup features Chris Collins on guitar, Matt Tidmarsh on bass, James Terris and Rama Kolesnikow on keys, and Vince Littleton on drums. Together, they bring a tightness and energy to the stage. This goes well beyond your average tribute act.

A Rock Show With a Neil Diamond Soundtrack

Don’t expect a gentle singalong. Super Diamond layers heavy guitars and contemporary rock riffs over Diamond’s classic pop tunes. As a result, the whole show has an alternative-rock edge that hits Diamond fans and rock fans alike.

Neil Diamond himself has even joined the band on stage at past shows. This is a testament to the respect and authenticity Super Diamond brings to the music every single night.

What to Know Before You Go

Belly Up’s intimate room on South Cedros Avenue is the perfect setting for a show like this. It’s a 21 and up event, so come ready to grab a drink and sing along without reservation.

See you there!

A Saturday night, a legendary venue, and one of the best Neil Diamond tributes around – this one’s hard to pass up.
