Spend the Holidays Under the Lights at Swiss Winter Village

Swiss Winter Village is bringing San Diego its first Swiss Christmas market, set up on the South Lawn at Liberty Station. The team behind Christmas markets in Zurich and Geneva is behind this debut edition.

More than 60 chalets, a carousel, and a Ferris wheel line the waterfront. Whether you’re shopping, snacking, or riding, kids and grown-ups will both find plenty to do.

Swiss Finds and Local Makers

Browse handmade goods, jewelry, festive decorations, and beautifully reimagined everyday objects as you wander chalet to chalet. It’s the kind of shopping where every piece comes with a story.

Swiss brands, San Diego artisans, and international vendors set up side by side. The lineup rotates through the season, so a second visit turns up new finds.

Raclette, Mulled Wine, and More

Come hungry. Around thirty food chalets serve street food from around the world, Swiss sweet treats, and spiced mulled wine, and the cozy raclette chalet is where you’ll want to unwind.

You’ll find traditional Alpine favorites alongside modern takes on Swiss cuisine, so every winter craving has a home. Vegan and gluten-free options are on the menu too, so everyone in your group can dig in.

Visit Santa at His Alpine Chalet

The village comes alive from day to night, with a Ferris wheel, a carousel, and a children’s corner for little ones. Storytelling and face painting keep the youngest visitors busy, and a nostalgic merry-go-round is there for another spin.

You can also visit Santa at his alpine chalet and take home a professional holiday photo. Stilt walkers, concerts, and DJ sets keep things moving all day.

Hands-On Fun Beyond the Shopping

Daily programming goes beyond browsing. Join a hands-on crafting workshop, sample a curated cheese tasting, or settle in for a seasonal cocktail hour.
