Sandpiper Wood Fired Grill & Oysters, the La Jolla Shores sister restaurant of Georges at the Cove, has released its spring dinner menu with several new additions from Executive Chef Marty Fay. Here is what you’ll see just a short walk from the beach, all of which you can enjoy from the indoor seating area, covered patio, or open-air patio.

Sandpiper Spring Dinner Menu

Sharables
Wood-Fired Carrots (toum, carrot top chimichurri, hazelnut dukkah)
Asparagus (albacore tonnato, parmesan Reggiano, fried egg)

Entrees
House-Made Pork Banger (pomme purée, onion gravy)
Pappardelle (mushroom ragu, Parmesan)
Chitarra Amatriciana (house-cured pancetta, red onion, tomato, pecorino)
Ricotta Cavatelli (spring peas, lemon beurre monté, pecorino, mint)

Dessert
Chocolate Mousse Cake (hazelnut, chocolate creméux, blackberry)

Spring Cocktails
A Colada Daiquiri (coconut & pineapple rums, sugar, lime)
Gin Basil Smash (gin, lemon, sugar, basil)
Firebird (blanco tequila, Licor 43, lime, pineapple, fermented jalapeno, bitters)
Fresh as a Daisy (gin, yellow chartreuse, lemon, raspberry)

And it doesn’t stop there. The famed Baja Fish Taco, a holdover from Galaxy Taco that features tortillas from Christine Rivera’s masa program, has been added to the lunch menu after previously only being offered during Happy Hour and at Sunday Brunch.

Sunday Brunch, meanwhile, also has a few additions, including Chilaquiles and Warm Chocolate Chip Banana Bread.
