Downtown La Mesa has a delicious new addition—Tour de Tapas, a restaurant offering Euro small plates and sips inspired by the culinary traditions of Spain, France, and Italy.

Opened on December 12, this vibrant concept from City Tacos founder Gerry Torres invites locals and visitors to savor the flavors of Southern Europe in a welcoming and stylish atmosphere.

A Feast of European Flavors

Tour de Tapas serves a diverse menu of small plates, with most dishes priced under $20. Menu highlights include:

  • Pulpo con Chistorra (Spanish-style octopus)
  • Patatas Bravas
  • Poulet Cordon Bleu
  • Gamberetti e Pinoli (sautéed shrimp with pine nuts)
  • Pesce Alla Livornese (sautéed rockfish)
  • Costillas de Cordero (panko-crusted lamb lollipops)

You’ll also find pasta dishes, traditional Spanish paella, Soupe à L’oignon (French onion soup), fresh salads, and curated charcuterie boards. For dessert, indulge in Crema Catalana (Spanish custard), Crepes Suzette, or Mousse au Chocolat.

Perfect Pairings

The drink menu is equally impressive, featuring over 30 wines primarily from Spain, France, and Italy. Sangria, draft beers, and coffee round out the beverage offerings, ensuring the perfect pairing for every plate.

Passion for Southern Europe

“Outside of my native Mexico, I am most passionate about Southern Europe,” says Gerry Torres.

“The flavors inspired by those beautiful countries have been a source of joy and creativity. I hope everyone finds great value in what we offer—there’s a little something for everyone.”

See you there!

Located at 8323 La Mesa Boulevard, this charming spot is open daily for dinner from 4 to 10 PM. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual meal or a celebratory feast, Tour de Tapas delivers an unforgettable evening of Euro small plates and sips.
