Belmont Park is Turning 101 and Spending the Whole Summer Celebrating

One of San Diego’s most beloved beachfront landmarks is marking a major milestone this summer, and the celebration is going to last all season long. Belmont Park is kicking off 100 Days of Belmont – a summer-long campaign packed with ride deals, food specials, giveaways, and live entertainment.

Whether you’re a longtime local or just discovering the park for the first time, there’s plenty of reason to show up and keep coming back.

100 Days of Belmont

A Season Pass That Pays for Itself Fast

In honor of its 101st birthday, Belmont Park is offering a special $101 Birthday Season Pass starting May 1. It includes unlimited rides and exclusive discounts all season, and the math works out quickly – the pass pays for itself in just two visits. If you’re planning to spend any real time at the park this summer, this one’s worth grabbing early.

Weekly Deals That Make Every Day Worth a Visit

Part of what makes 100 Days of Belmont so fun is that there’s something happening throughout the week, not just on weekends. Here’s a look at what’s on rotation:

  • Michelada Mondays take 50% off micheladas at Tap Truck, bringing them down to $7
  • Triple Play Tuesdays bring three ways to save every Tuesday – $3 Tiki Typhoon rides, half-off arcade games, and $5 laser tag rounds
  • Tostilocos Tuesdays serve up $2 Tostilocos at Baked & Blended
  • Popcorn Wednesdays mean $1 buttered popcorn at Snackin’ Kracken

Special Dates to Circle on the Calendar

A couple of national holidays are getting the Belmont Park treatment this summer. On National Carousel Day – July 25 – rides on the historic carousel drop to just $2. Then on National Roller Coaster Day – August 16 – the iconic Giant Dipper runs at $4, half off the regular price.

Birthday Treats and Boardwalk Vibes

It wouldn’t be a birthday celebration without cake – or at least cake-flavored everything. Look out for limited-time birthday-themed treats available only during the 100 Days of Belmont, including a Birthday Cake Milkshake at Belmonty’s, Birthday Cake Fudge at Sweet Shoppe, and Birthday Cake Dippin’ Dots.

Every weekend, live music fills the food court from 2 PM to 5 PM, making it a natural stop whether you’re hitting the rides, grabbing a bite, or just wandering the Mission Beach boardwalk.

A Bonus for Families at Plunge San Diego

Plunge San Diego is getting in on the fun, too. During the 100 Days of Belmont, first-time family members who sign up for a recurring Plunge Family Membership will receive a $100 program credit to put toward swim programs – a solid bonus for families looking to make the most of the summer.
