With the leaves changing and cooler nights approaching, it’s clear that the fall season is here!

Well, let’s be honest, we don’t see much of those changes since we’re in San Diego. But we can pretend!

1. Whisknladle

When it comes to finding a true farm-to-table bistro, Whisknladle is one of the best around!

Whisknladle collaborates with local farmers to ensure the freshest  products hit the plate. They have a unique menu that’s ever-changing depending on what’s good at a given time. Each season they create new flavor pairings to showcase comfort food at its finest. Of course there’s always a slight twist to shock your palette.

2. Urge Gastropub

If you’re looking for a place to enjoy a good beer and a plate of food, Urge is your next stop.

Located in Rancho Bernardo, Urge is known for their crazy rotating tap list that rivals the best in SD. What better way to experience great suds than with a seasonal menu?

The combinations of their dishes are just as diverse as their selection of beers. You can never go wrong with a pint and their fall sausage sandwich, especially when it’s weirdly-amazing pumpkin chorizo!

3. EAT at The Pearl

Tucked away in Point Loma you’ll find The Pearl – a small boutique hotel with its own little story.

Although the rooms are great ( each one has it’s own beta-fish) the true pearl of this hotel is their restaurant and bar, EAT!

EAT is known for their eclectic dishes that use fresh and local ingredients! Their menus rotate seasonally with new four-star dishes that reflect each one. Come enjoy a drink and dive into some delicious food.

Plus, if you’re lucky, your dinner could come with a movie featured on their dive-in theatre screen above the pool.

With the fall weather approaching its time to warm up with some incredible eats and cocktails at Campfire Carlsbad.

Campfire offers a hot new menu each season incorporating the use of a wood-fire grill in many of the dishes. The use of the grill separates them from other local eateries and adds a custom touch that ensures they’ll be remembered.

Everything they do brings an elegant, but outdoorsy feel to the restaurant. Heck – they even offer s’mores for dessert!

5. Herringbone
