Over two dozen local bakers donate their pies to this good cause where 100 percent of the proceeds goes to feeding people throughout San Diego who have been affected by HIV, cancer and other critical illnesses.. Pies, including traditional apple, dutch apple, pumpkin and pecan, cost $25 each. Order your pie by November 19th and pick them up on the 21st at Mama’s Kitchen or the 22nd at your choice of one of the 20+ pick up sites around San Diego County.

True Food Kitchen – Mission Valley

This healthier version of the season’s favorite pumpkin pie is full of flavor thanks to an abundance of ginger, cloves and cinnamon as well as a taste of brandy, maple and coconut. It’s served on a vegan graham cracker crust and finished with vegan coconut milk whipped cream. Pre-order the pie for $22 by November 19th and pick it up in store on November 21st or 22nd.

If you forget to pre-order your pie, you may be able to simply pick a Julian pie up on your way to Thanksgiving dinner!
