Horrible Imaginings Film Festival is San Diego’s premiere film festival dedicated to macabre cinema and art! Over three days at the start of autumn, we will spotlight exemplary new voices in genre film, literature, and more! Historic Balboa Park will experience an turn away from the sunshine toward darker landscapes–don’t miss it! VIP Passes are ALREADY GOING FAST!

This year’s festival kicks off on Friday night with a focus on local filmmakers with the San Diego Creators Spotlight, then continues through the weekend with nearly 70 short and feature films and events, closing Sunday night with a tribute film honoring George Romero.

San Diego Film Week says the Horrible Imaginings has a “…reputation for screening some of the most innovative and exciting new genre films! This selection of dark stories showcases the brilliant diversity of voices working in horror today, and explore fear through horror, comedy, science fiction, satire, and even musicals! Beware!
