The Oktoberfest Of Champagne

While most people are celebrating the season of fall leaves and Oktoberfest brews, the fine state of California will be extending the list of parties to add one big bubbly fest by the sea.

Because we can!

This year marks the fourth annual “Bubblyfest By The Sea,” a four day festival of all things champagne and sparkling wine. But the goods don’t end there: There will be a 1920s-themed cocktail party, sweeping Pacific Ocean views, delicious dinners – not to mention, charcuterie for days!

Beginning Thursday, October 5th and continuing through Sunday, October 8th, over 60 sparkling wine and champagne producers will be coming out with their finest bottles and disbursing loads of cool knowledge about each vintage – because everyone looks like a badass when they know the details of their fine drinks!

Each ticket to Bubblyfest will include a souvenir glass for each participant, unlimited bubbly tastings, seminars and a variety of light hors d’oeuvres.

VIP events will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Event Schedule:

Thursday Night:

Dinner is slated to be a Fried Chicken & Champagne Dinner with Master Sommelier, Chris Blanchard. That’s right: One of the top 200 Somms and 4 different champagnes – hell yes!

Friday Day:

The afternoon will kick off with industry and connoisseur focused seminars with panelists such as Chris Blanchard, Clarissa Nagy of Riverbench, Tawnya Falkner of Le Grand Courtage, and Sylvie Tannhauser of Domaine Carneros.

Friday Evening:

The very popular “Corks and Cocktails” cocktail party will be going down at the Central Coast Aquarium. Attendees come ‘dressed to the nines’ in 1920’s attire, listen to jazz and sip cocktails made with sparkling wines.

Saturday:

The day of the Grand Tasting will include samples from 70 labels both international and domestic, as well as more consumer-focused education panels.
