Check Out Our Top 5 Places To Find Unique Holiday Gifts San Diego

There has never been a better and more exciting time to shop local if you are looking for unique holiday gifts San Diego! Why? You may ask.

With all these shops popping up all over San Diego selling not only your usual giftware or fashion and accessories, but also mix workshops, coffee bars, and workspaces, there is no need for you to go far and beyond because almost everything is right in our backyard!

Plus, the rise of pop-up markets supporting our local makers and artists makes shopping locally more of an experience now than a necessity.

So here are a few valuable recommendations we think you’ll love:

Pigment, North Park

This shopping paradise offers everything from furniture, plants, card and unique gifts. Their Candyland Holiday display this season is simply stunning with pastel bottle brush glitter Christmas tree decorations, Sugarfina candy, and air plants galore. Pigment is definitely holiday-ready!

They also host regular workshops with some of the best artists San Diego has to offer! Most recently, local florist superstar, Jill from LayeredVintage, hosted a wreath-making class and upcoming water color classes hosted by Mon Voir. So if you love arts and crafts, Pigment is definitely a place for you.

You can check out their other workshops here.

Hi Sweetheart, La Jolla

This sweet little gift shop supports our local makers year round.  Selling San Diego favorites, like Craft & Foster candles, Brooklyn Grace Jewelry designed by Renae Hatch, Orange and Park San Diego Art Prints, and the covetable wine-on-the-go glasses by Encinitas duo Goverre.

In this store, you can also find unique partyware, cards, and the cutest baby wear. Definitely worth a visit if you’re scouting for unique gifts for your loved ones!

Current Collective, Ocean Beach

This newly opened beautiful space in Ocean Beach is not only a place to find unique gifts but is also an art gallery, music instruction studio, and an event and workspace serving coffee, acai, tea and matcha. Our personal favorites include the abstract art by local artist Samantha Louise Designs who hosts Free Art Friday every week, and the vintage boho wall decor pieces.

Constantly changing, this place is sure to keep you excited and coming back for more!

Often Wander at Noon, Ocean Beach

This cool store hand-pours their own candles and has lovely jewelry, home decor, and succulents among others.  They also have items from local designers like Annie Margot’s vintage denim jackets, which will also be available at the The Local Holiday Bazaar this weekend!

The Local Holiday Bazaar, Del Mar

Popping up in Del Mar this holiday season for the In Cheer celebration at Flower Hill Promenade is The Local Holiday Bazaar on December 9th from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm.

This Flower Hill pop-up brings you over 15 of the best local designers, makers and artists. You’ll also get to meet and interact with the maker themselves, and learn more about their crafts and what inspires them, which allows for a more enjoyable shopping experience for both parties!

Offline > Online

Yes, online shopping is convenient, but nothing beats a more meaningful way of shopping for gifts that have a story behind them and a service with a personal touch from the sellers themselves.

So don’t forget to pay these lovely, local boutiques a visit when shopping for the holidays!

Happy shopping!
