San Diego Native To Run More Than 1,700 Miles To Support Children Fighting Cancer. What A Stud!

San Diego native, Richard Nares, will run more than 1,700 miles from Seattle, Washington to San Diego, Calif. to raise money for the Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF), a nonprofit that helps families navigate their child’s journey through cancer.

What a stud!

Beginning on June 4th, Richard will be running from SEATTLE to SAN DIEGO stopping at 9 children’s hospitals along his route to raise funds and interest in ENF programs as we prepare for our expansion!

Each pediatric children’s hospital will be recieving Emilio’s Loving Tabs shirts as a special gift. Emilio’s Loving Tabs are shirts with snaps on the shoulder and sleeve to facilitate access to chemotherapy for children with cancer. The breathable shirts provide a sense of normalcy so children don’t have to take off or lift a shirt to receive treatment. A game changer for kids, parents, and hospital staff!

Throughout his two month run, Richard will be stopping at:

– Seattle Children’s Hospital

– Doernbacher Children’s Hospital (Portland)

– UCSF Benioff (Oakland/San Francisco)

– Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital (Palo Alto)

– UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital

– Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles

– Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital

– Children’s Hospital of Orange County

– Rady Children’s Hospital

Let’s show him the love and help him reach his goal of raising $250,000 for the Emilio Nares Foundation to assist in our expansion, and provide the gift of comfort and care for children in need as they battle cancer!

We’re proud of you, Richard!
